The Nigerian Press Council’s Board comprises:

– A Chairman and

– 18 other members drawn from

  • The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ);
  • Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE);
  • Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN);
  • The Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON);
  • News Agency of Nigeria (NAN);
  • The Federal Ministry of Information (FMI);
  • Journalism Training Institutions
  • and the general Public.

Do you have a complaint?

Any member of the public (group or organisation) is entitled to lodge a complaint to the Nigerian Press Council about a print media or journalist and journalists about the public on publication that are factually incorrect or conduct that violates the code of ethics
