
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Press Council (NPC), Dr. Dili Ezughah, alongside other distinguished Chief Executives, attended the End-of-Year World Press Conference held at the National Press Centre, Radio House, Abuja. The conference, addressed by the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, served as a key platform for reflecting on the state of the media industry and government’s efforts in promoting press freedom, responsible journalism, and national development.

In his address, the Honourable Minister reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and professional media landscape. He emphasized the role of the press in shaping public discourse, combating misinformation, and promoting national unity. He also highlighted ongoing reforms and policy initiatives aimed at enhancing media practice in Nigeria.
